More hotels in the City Center of Seville

I've offered some of my recommended choices for lodging in Seville where you can book through sevilla5.com. There are of course more hotels and hostals in Seville and when everything is booked you may need to widen your search. Below I have selected hotels and hostals which are either in the city center and within walking distance to the main sites, or in a few cases in the neighborhood of Triana. There are plenty of hotels which are outside of the historic center, but I think most who are visiting would prefer to be close to the sights and monuments. Check out the longer list of hotels and hostal below, all of which can be booked online through a reservations partner. In each description I have concentrated on location, and indicated the neighborhood in bold so you can easily determine there they are. More details are available by clicking on the photos of links.

Hostal Dalí Puerta de Jerez 3 41004 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		*-Recommended-* Hostal Dali is located in the Puerta Jerez, very close to the river, the University of Seville, the Cathedral and Alcazar. Easy access to the monuments plus Los Remedios across the river.
Hostal Santa Catalina C/ Alhóndiga 10/12 41003 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		*-Recommended-* Just in front of the Santa Catalina church and Plaza de los Terceros. Great location for seeing some of Seville's small churches as well as enjoying several good tapas bars just a few meters from the hostal's front door.
Hostal Museo Abad Gordillo 17 41001 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Typical 19th century house in the Museum district, just a few minutes away from the Fine Arts Museum and shopping district.
Hostal B&B Naranjo C/ San Roque 11 41001 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Hostal Naranjo is located just a few blocks from the Museum of Fine Arts on calle San Roque, just around the corner from the main shopping district.
Hostal Doña Feli Jesús del Gran Poder 130 41002 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		A typical Sevillan house in the Alameda neighborhood, just off of the main plaza. The hostal is close to Jesús del Gran Poder and San Lorenzo Churches, as well as all of the nightlife in the Alameda
Hostal Doña Pepa Juan de Vera 20 4100 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Proximity to the train station makes this ideal for catching an early train, and one of the reasons we have included this hostal. A short walk brings you to the historic center and most monuments.

Hostal Nuevo Suizo Azofaifo (Calle Sierpes) 7 41004 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Hostal Nuevo Suizo is more Moorish than Swiss! Located down a small alley off of the pedestrian street of Sierpes in the shopping district, it is an excellent location in the center of the city
Hostal Paco´s Pedro del Toro 7 41001 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Economical hostal located close to the Museum and the Plaza de Armas. Just over 10 minutes walking leads you to the Cathedral, and in 5 minutes you can reach the river.
Hostal París San Pedro Martir 14 41001 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Close to Plaza de Armas bus station on a quiet street, it is also close to the commercial center of Seville and 10 minutes to the major monuments.
Hostal Picasso San Gregorio 1 41004 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Hostal Picasso is located in the Santa Cruz quarter next to the Cathedral and the Alcázar. Very convenient to the University of Seville and the river as well.
Hostal Roma (Hostales SP) Gravina 34 41001 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Another hostal located close to the Plaza de Armas bus station and the Museum of Fine Arts. A short walk leads you to the river and Triana. A little over 10 minutes walk to the Cathedral and main shopping streets.
Hostal Van Gogh Miguel de Mañara 1 41004 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		The Hostal Vincent Van Gogh is in an excellent location in Santa Cruz, just off a large plaza between the Cathedral and Alcazar. Everything is close by, including the river, Plaza de Toros and the University of Seville.

This was once the home of "Niño Ricardo", a famous flamenco guitar player. This is a case of a hotel being a 1 star establishment because of it's size, but not taking into account the details and furnishings which are typical of a 3 star hotel. The prices are higher than the normal 1 star hotels, but the quality is worth it. Well located between the Alfalfa and Santa Catalina districts.

Just across the main avenue behind the Cathedral you will find Hotel Simon, a nice one star in the Arenal quarter. Just a few doors down you will find Bar Hermanos E Morales, an historic tavern which rivals the feel of El Rinconcillo, Seville's oldest bar. In just a few minutes you can reach the Cathedral, Alcazar, Archivo de Indias and the river.

Hotel Londres, or Hotel London in English, is well located in a favorite are of mine - near the Museum of Fine Arts. It is also just around the corner from the main shopping streets of Tetuan and Sierpes, plus close to the river. There is a small group of clean, smaller hotels and hostals in this area for a reason - quiet, typical Sevillian streets in an excellent location.

Hostal YH Giralda C/ Abades 30 41004 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		*-Recommended-* An 18th Century house, Hotel YH Giralda is of recent construction in the very centre of Santa Cruz. Just a hundred metres from the Giralda, there are several typical bars and restaurants close by as well. An excellent location.
*2 Hotel Alcántara (Sevilla)** C/ Ximénez de Enciso 28 41001 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		*-Recommended-* Hotel Alcántara is a relatively new hotel very well located in Santa Cruz. It is modern yet comfortable and is unique in that is shares an entrance with Casa de la Memoria, a great venue for a flamenco show. Walking distance to the Cathedral and Alcazar is under 5 minutes.
*2 Hotel Don Pedro** Gerona 24 41003 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		*-Recommended-* The Hotel Don Pedro is a short walk to Santa Cruz and all of the monuments. Located in the Santa Catalina neighborhood and just down the street from where I live! It also is a few short steps from El Rinconcillo and some great tapas in a true historic atmosphere. Add to that a walk down Bustos Tavera and calle San Luis, where you can take a tour of some beautiful churches such as San Luis de los Franceses.
*2 Hotel Doña Blanca** Plaza P. Jerónimo de Córdoba 14 41003 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Doña Blanca is of recent construction on the edge of Santa Catalina and bordering Puerta Osario. This is convenient to the train station as well as Santa Cruz. Next door is a favorite breakfast spot of ours, San Buenaventura, which also serves up some good pastries.
*2 Hotel Murillo** Lope de Rueda 9 41004 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Located on a very narrow street in Santa Cruz, it's location is the primary reason to stay in this hotel. The lobby will take you back in time as well. Hotel Murillo is close to the all of the major monuments and just a block away from Hospital de los Venerables. This is a functional hotel - a nice way of saying the rooms need a little renovation work.
*2 Hotel Sevilla** Daoíz 5 41003 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Hotel Sevilla says it all - a hotel in Sevilla. This is located next to the San Andres church in one of my favorite plazas in Seville in the shopping district. The church is a nice backdrop for the good food at Bar Santa Marta, which offers typical Andalusian dishes at a good price. Just around the corner is La Campana, Seville's oldest and most famous bakery.
*2 Hotel Zurbarán** Mariana de Pineda 10 41004 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Typical mozarabe house, located in the Santa Cruz quarter close to the gardens of the Alcazar. Very convenient to the University of Seville and the river, it is also just a minute's walk to the Cathedral, Arenal neighborhood and the Torre del Oro. A very good location for seeing just about everything in the city.

*3 Hotel Abanico** Águilas 17 41003 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		*-Recommended-* Very good location between the Alfalfa and Santa Cruz, just down the street from the Casa de Pilatos. The Alfalfa quarter is known for it's many tapas bars. A short walk through the back streets of Santa Cruz leads you to the Cathedral and Reales Alcazares.
*3 Hotel Alcázar** Menéndez y pelayo 10 41001 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		*-Recommended-* Hotel Alcázar is located just across the avenue from Santa Cruz and the Murillo Gardens. An excellent location for visits to Parque Maria Luisa and the University of Seville (Old Tobacco Factory). Many rooms have views of the gardens, the walls of the Alcazar and the Giralda in the distance.
*3 Hotel Regina** San Vicente 97 41002 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		*-Recommended-* Located in in the San Lorenzo district, the Hotel Regina is close to the Fine Arts Museum and the Iglesia del Gran Poder. It was built in 1992, for the Expo and includes 3 Andalusian patios and more than 90 rooms. There are plenty of modern comforts in a historic setting.
*3 Hotel Cervantes** Cervantes 10 41003 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		The Hotel Cervantes is located between the shopping center of Seville and the Alameda. On a quiet street, guests have good access to the Alameda, well known for it's nightlife. The main shopping streets of Sierpes and Tetuan are just a few minutes walk from the hotel. This is part of the Best Western chain of hotels.
*3 Hotel Corregidor** Morgado 17 41003 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Hotel Corregidor, is located on calle Amor de Dios, in the Alameda neighborhood. Good connections with the central shopping district provide pleasant scenery for a walk to the Santa Cruz neighborhood, the Cathedral and Alcazar.
*3 Hotel Don Paco** Plaza Padre Jerónimo de Córdoba 4-5 41003 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Hotel Don Paco is between the Puerta Osario and Santa Catalina district, on the edge of Santa Cruz. A walk of 10 minutes will bring you to the Cathedral and Santa Cruz or the main shopping district. The hotel is also convenient to the train station. In under 2 minutes you will find some of Seville's best tapas bars such as El Rinconcillo, the oldest tavern in the city!
*3 Hotel Monte Triana** Clara de Jesús Montero 24 41010 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		The hotel is located in the Triana neighborhood, just a 10 minute walk from the historical and commercial centre. Triana is known for it's history of flamenco, ceramics and of course tapas and nightlife.
*3 Hotel NH Plaza de Armas** C/ Marqués de Paradas s/n 41001 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Build for the 1992 Expo, Hotel NH Plaza de Armas is one of the few larger, modern hotels located in the city center. Just across from the Plaza de Armas bus station, there is easy access to the Guadalquivir River, Triana, the Plaza de Toros and the Arenal quarter. In a little over 10 minutes you will arrive to the main monuments such as the Cathedral and Alcazar.

*5 Hotel Alfonso XIII** San Fernando 2 41001 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		*-Recommended-* The Hotel Alfonso XIII was commissioned by the king of Spain in 1928 to be Europe’s most luxurious hotel, opening just before the Expo of 1929. Perhaps the height of luxury in Seville with a great location just next to the Old Tobacco Factory in Puerta Jerez.
*4 Hotel Bécquer** Reyes Católicos 4 41001 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		*-Recommended-* Central location, in the shopping district. A very short walk brings you to the river and Triana. A little under 10 minutes walk you will find the Cathedral and Santa Cruz. A very good value in the category and they have just opened a new Spa.
*4 Hotel Rey Alfonso X** Ximénez de Enciso 35 41004 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		*-Recommended-* Located in the Santa Cruz neighborhood facing Plaza Santa Maria la Blanca. Another location close to the Cathedral and many parks, such as the Murillo Gardens. Close to the hotel are many dining and nightlife options as well.
*4 Hotel Fernando III** San José 21 41004 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Located in the Santa Cruz quarter just off of Plaza Santa Maria la Blanca. Close to many restaurants with outdoor dining plus the famous Carboneria, with live flamenco just about every night. In less than five minutes you will find yourself at the Cathedral and Reales Alcazares.
*4 Hotel Husa Los Seises** Segovias 6 41004 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Formerly a 16th century palace which was part of the Archbishops Palace next to the Cathedral. Location plus a roof top swimming pool are the main attractions. Very central location in Santa Cruz, perhaps the best location in all of Seville.
*4 Hotel San Gil** Parras 28 41003 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Hotel San Gil is in the Macarena neighborhood, situated just behind the historic Macarena wall. Located in a more typical neighborhood away from many of the tourists you will find comfort fitting of a 4 star hotel.
*4 Hotel Zenit (Sevilla)** Pagés del Corro 90 41010 Sevilla Sevilla - Spain.		Located on the other side of the river in the famous district of Triana, Hotel Zenit is convenient to Los Remedios, the Cartuja and is a short walk to calle Betis, known for its nightlife, restaurants, and beautiful views of the city center across the river.
