Wednesday, May 12th "La Extremeña - hope the grill returns soon"

One of our favorite places to eat grilled meat of any kind is temporarily missing their wood fired grill. Because of complaints from the neighbors above of the smell (who wouldn't enjoy the smell of meat and wood???) the chimney needs a good sweep and perhaps a few modifications before being put back in action. The electric grill is now in it;s place and while things are still tasty it just ain't the same. Perhaps it's just my roots that make me notice the difference, coming from N.C. where we know the difference between real pit cooked bbq and electric cooked. Still, we were happy to learn it's a temporary solution unless they get used to the electric version.
